Radiation from the Big Bang

Dear grandpa,
I never met who
pulled the trigger.

They say that you
had enemies and
it was the Depression,

but who really knows?
Your ashes were scattered
somewhere in the valley

and the records back then
were never kept the way they
should have been.

Anyways, there is far too much chatter
about all of that now, in the background,

as the evidence of you
expands in every direction
