The Vineyard

Cooked gently by the
luminescence and blended
in the blackberry liqueur of
elder flowers and arrowroot,
the sun is sometimes a flash
at the bottom of four stemmed
glasses. Skinned side down the
sweet songs of our crazy sorrows.
Deep time, a sweet orange blossom
water, a fluid that cannot be named.
