The committee of the Australian Sangha Association urges supporters to vote “yes” in the nation’s upcoming Referendum on Indigenous Recognition and a Voice to Parliament, which is officially underway with a compulsory ballot to be held tomorrow, on 14 October.
The referendum will decide whether the national government should amend the country’s Constitution to recognize the First Peoples of Australia by establishing a body called the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice.
