Tung Lin Kok Yuen, Canada Society will organize an introductory lecture on “Understanding the Three Refuges and Five Precepts” in Buddhism. We respectfully invite Venerable Wai Leung to introduce the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha (the Triple Gem). While “Taking Refuge” marks the beginning of Buddhist learning, the “Five Precepts” are essential guidelines for Buddhist practitioners’ daily life. By taking the Three Refuges and Five Precepts, we embark upon the path of peace and liberation from suffering.
