Oleg Yuzefpolsky

Oleg is the creator and curator of custom tours through India and the Himalayas. He is a photographer, video artist, poet, and DJ. He was born in Odessa, Ukraine, and moved to the US as a refugee. After studying film direction and script-writing in New York University, he moved to India, where he lives now, particularly in a remote region of the Himalayas, Sikkim.

He is a member of the independent group that submitted a proposal to UNESCO to preserve the authentic culture and lifestyle of Sikkim and for the acceptance of this area as a World Heritage Site. He actively initiates NGO and charitable projects supporting boarding schools for orphans and underprivileged children in the Himalayan region, as well as fighting to stop child trafficking in Nepal and rehabilitation of children. He is a representative of the Chaktha Rinpoche Foundation, Sikkim.
