The Global Peace Prayer will be held in Bhutan from 4–15 November 2025. This is the first time such a sacred gathering is being hosted in Bhutan, and it is being organized for the peace, harmony, and wellbeing of the entire world. Even if you cannot be present physically, you can still receive the same blessings through sincere devotion.
Every morning, simply remember that the Peace Prayer is taking place in Bhutan and visualize yourself sitting among the devotees, praying together for the world. In the evening, dedicate your merit for the peace and wellbeing of all nations and all sentient beings. Wherever you are, if you join with pure intention and deep devotion, the blessings will reach you in the same way as those who are physically present. The power of prayer travels beyond distance, country, and place. When we pray with compassion, our mind connects directly to the merit of the global ceremony.
What truly matters is the purity of intention, not physical presence. When the heart connects with devotion, blessings reach everywhere. May this global prayer bring harmony, healing, and compassion to all beings.
May our prayers bring harmony to the world and benefit all without exception.
When it comes to recitation, it is completely optional. You should know prayer is born from devotion, not obligation. Whatever prayer you feel connected to—whether it is Jetsun Dolma (Om Tare Tuttare Ture Soha), Chenrezig (Om Mani Padme Hung), Guru Rinpoche (Om ah hung vajra guru Padma siddhi hung), Yeopamay (Om Ami Dewahri), Zhabdrung Rinpoche (Om ah guru wa gendea bezhaya ayu nana sedi hung) or any other sacred mantra—you may recite it from 4 to 15 November with sincerity and an open heart. If you can offer your recitation each day and dedicate the merit for the Global Peace Prayer and for the wellbeing of all sentient beings, the blessing you receive will be the same as those attending physically in Bhutan.
The sun is far from the earth, yet its rays illuminate the entire world. In the same way, even if the Global Peace Prayer is happening in Bhutan, the blessings radiate in all directions. Distance cannot block compassion or merit. Just as a solar panel captures the sun’s power and turns it into energy, your devotion becomes a vessel that receives the spiritual blessings of the prayer ceremony. When the heart is sincere, blessings naturally flow.
Each morning, simply remember that the Global Peace Prayer is taking place, and visualize yourself being part of it. In the evening, dedicate your day’s prayers, even if small, for peace, healing, and the happiness of all beings. This pure intention is itself a profound offering.
Another important event during this sacred period is the Kalachakra Empowerment, which will be bestowed from 12–14 November, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. It will be live-broadcast so that those who cannot attend in person may still receive it. I will share the link very soon. Kalachakra is one of the most precious and rare empowerments, offered for the benefit of global harmony and spiritual awakening. Receiving it online with devotion brings the same blessing as receiving it directly, because empowerment is the transmission of wisdom mind, not merely physical presence. Like a magnet drawing iron, the blessings naturally come to those who are ready and receptive.
May all who join, in person or from afar, be embraced by the light of compassion, peace, and inner awakening. May these sacred days benefit all beings without exception.
