Prof. Halkias is Director of the Centre of Buddhist Studies at The University of Hong Kong. His research interests include Indo-Tibetan Mahāyāna and Vajrayāna Pure Land histories, texts, rituals, and contemplative practices, Himalayan Buddhism, and Hellenism and Buddhism.
