Holding A Mirror In Hands

Poem and image by Oleg Yuzefpolsky

Imagine:

Sitting in front of the sun
And holding a mirror in hands,
You catch a sunbeam
which immediately “scatters” everywhere.
Opposite and around you there are also mirrors,
And you find yourself right in the middle of bright rays of light.

Now, disappear in this radiance.
Let only rays remain.

This is your essence –

A flicker of illuminated emptiness
