Within the spiritual landscape of the GMC—the modern Shambhala—we are honored to announce the creation of Tara’s Heaven, a visionary sanctuary established under the initiative of the Bhutan Tara Foundation. Dedicated to Jetsun Drolma, the Mother of all Buddhas and the supreme wish-fulfilling Bodhisattva, this center is destined to be a hallowed landmark where visitors will feel her living presence and the profound, transformative energy of her compassion.
Our vision is to create a global haven where devotees from every corner of the world can gather in unified prayer. This sacred space will offer comprehensive wisdom regarding Jetsun Drolma and her twenty-one manifestations, allowing practitioners to immerse themselves in her diverse forms of enlightened activity. It will be a place of boundless offering, where one’s devotion can be expressed through the simple beauty of a single flower or the radiance of a thousand butter lamps.
As we move forward with this sacred mission, I, Sangay Dorji Rinpoche (Karma Acharya), am deeply honored to serve as the Chairperson of the Shambhala Dzong and Bhutan Tara Foundation project.
To the many followers across all nationalities who find refuge in Jetsun Dema, we invite you to join us in this auspicious endeavor. I hope that everyone who holds Jetsun Drolma in their daily prayers will feel moved to come forward and support this project, helping to bring this sanctuary of peace to fruition.
As the project plans and consecration dates are finalized, we will share further details so that we may embark on this journey of devotion together. For now, we humbly request everyone to dedicate your aspirations toward the success of this project that it may serve as a source of liberation and enlightenment for all sentient beings.
