The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bhutan, Tshering Tobgay, was in Changlimithang on the 1st day of the Global Peace Prayer Festival on 4 November. Amidst blaring trumpets and solemn chanting, Mr. Tobgay shared his thoughts with BDG columnist Rebecca Wong about the significance of the Festival, and His Majesty the King’s underlying intention to unite the country and all the people of the world in a ceremony that radiates positive, blessed energy across the planet.
